We started cleaning up some of the surface rust around the wheels. 

First we ground out the old body fill and as much of the rusted metal as possible. 

Then we treated it with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator paint.

Next we applied Rage body fill.  This spot will need more body fill.

The next step is to sand and prime.

Here's the leading edge of the bonnet ready for sanding.

First, a convertible top cover for about $40. 

The top cover needs a few snaps, but otherwise it's good.

I also got the tonneau for about $40, but it needs two zippers repaired.  Last week one sold for $176, so it was a good deal.
